Every Shivalaya piece is made to order in Jaipur — roughly 7–10 working days of craft, then express delivery. No mass production, no middlemen.

We agree the fabric, motif, colourway and quantity for your order.
Fabric & Pattern
Natural cotton is sourced and patterns are cut, ready for the block.
Pre-Production
Carved blocks are hand-stamped with azo-free dyes, then washed and dried.
Production
Cut, sewn and finished in our unit, then shipped worldwide.

Shivalaya began with a single printing table and a family of block printers. Three decades on, we still carve our own blocks, mix our own colours and cut and sew under one roof — supplying boutiques, designers and fashion houses across the world with hand block-print cotton.

My only comment is the tie threads through a pocket at the top so you really need take it out to wash the skirt and then have to thread it back through so that design could be improved along with adding buttons or snaps to the opening at the tip that gaps.
