Our Bedsheets & Bedcovers collection brings hand block-printed cotton bedding from our Jaipur, India studio to your bedroom. Each piece is printed by hand using carved wooden blocks on 100% cotton, giving the cloth a soft, breathable feel and a quiet, artisanal character. The current range focuses on geometric block prints in indigo blue and blue tones, available as bedsheet sets — many paired with two matching pillow covers — in standard sizes around 60 x 90 and 90 x 108 inches.
Because every sheet is stamped block by block, small variations in registration, ink depth and hand-pressure are part of the craft rather than a flaw. - The current range includes two main sizes, approximately 60 x 90 inches and 90 x 108 inches. Several options are sold as sets with two matching pillow covers, while others are offered as the bedsheet alone — the configuration is listed on each product page.
- Yes, slight variation is expected. Since each length of cloth is stamped by hand with carved wooden blocks, you may see small differences in print alignment, ink saturation and depth of the indigo blue from one piece to another. This is a normal part of hand block printing, not a defect.
- We recommend a gentle cold wash for the first few washes, separately from lighter fabrics, since hand-printed indigo cotton can release some colour initially. Avoid harsh bleach, dry in shade to protect the print, and iron on the reverse if needed. Gentle care will keep the cotton soft and the motifs crisp over time.
