Kantha Quilts
Our Kantha Quilts collection brings together two hand crafts in one piece: hand block printing on 100% cotton, layered and finished with rows of fine kantha running stitch. Each quilt passes between artisans in Jaipur, India — one printing the cloth with carved wooden blocks, another hand-stitching the layers — so no two quilts look exactly alike. Slight variation in print register and stitch rhythm is part of the craft.
The current range sits in a blue and indigo palette, with botanical, geometric and abstract block prints across throw and larger bed sizes. They work as a lightweight summer coverlet, a layering throw over a duvet, a sofa throw or a picnic cover, and they pair naturally with our other block print bedsheets and bedcovers for a fully coordinated bed.

- A kantha quilt is a layered cotton textile finished with rows of small running stitches called kantha, worked by hand. In our collection, cotton fabric is first hand block-printed with carved wooden blocks in Jaipur, India, then layered and hand-stitched by a second artisan. The two crafts together give each quilt its soft drape and gently textured surface.
- All quilts in this category are 100% cotton, both the printed face and the layers inside. They are lightweight and breathable, which makes them suitable as a summer coverlet, a layering throw on a heavier duvet, or a sofa and picnic throw year-round.
- Because the print is applied by hand and the stitching is hand-worked, we recommend a gentle cold wash, separately for the first wash, and drying in shade to protect the indigo and blue tones. Iron on the reverse if needed. Small variations in print alignment and stitch spacing are part of the handmade character, not defects.
- The current range is offered in throw and larger bed sizes, in an indigo and blue palette with botanical, geometric and abstract block prints.
