What fabric are these block print dresses made from?

Every dress in this category is made from 100% cotton, hand block printed in Jaipur, India. Cotton is breathable and easy to wear year-round, which is why we use it across our floral, paisley and abstract prints. Unless a product page states otherwise, you can assume pure cotton throughout.

How should I care for a hand block printed cotton dress?

We recommend a gentle cold wash — hand wash separately for the first few washes, since hand block printed cotton can release some surface colour early on. Dry in shade to protect the print, and iron on a medium setting on the reverse if needed. Avoid harsh detergents and bleach.

Do you offer plus sizes in this dress collection?

Yes, plus sizing is available across our block print dress range. Refer to the size chart on each individual product page for the specific measurements offered for that style, as cuts vary between kimono gowns, midi dresses and maxi silhouettes.

Why do two dresses in the same print look slightly different?

Each dress is printed by hand using carved wooden blocks stamped across the fabric, so slight variations in placement, colour depth and motif alignment are natural to the process. These small differences are a signature of hand block printing rather than a defect — they're what makes each piece one of a kind.
